„Ich mal mal was“ – Das sage ich oft.
Malen ist etwas, das ich ständig tue. Etwas, das zu mir gehört und bei dem ich ganz ich bin.
„Ich“ bin Ina Steinmetz, geboren 1989 in der Nähe von Stuttgart. Ich habe 10/2009 – 11/2014 Computervisualistik an der Universität Koblenz-Landau studiert und 02/2013 – 05/2015 eine Ausbildung zur Ashtanga-Yoga-Lehrerin bei Dr. Ronald Steiner gemacht.
Derzeit wohne ich bei Karlsruhe und arbeite als Entwicklerin und Beraterin im Bereich 3D-Visualisierung komplexer Industrieprodukte. Neben der Arbeit promoviere im Bereich der Computerlinguistik. Details zu meiner Arbeit und Forschung finden Sie hier.
Kunst ist mein Ausgleich zur Wissenschaft und Computerarbeit.
Es vergeht kaum ein Tag, an dem ich nicht male – und sei es auch nur in Gedanken.

„I’m going to paint something“ – I say that a lot.
Painting is something I do all the time. Something that I immerse myselfe in and where I am completely me.
„I“ am Ina Steinmetz, born in 1989 near Stuttgart.
I studied Computational Visualistics at the University of Koblenz-Landau from 10/2009 – 11/2014 and trained as an Ashtanga Yoga teacher with Dr. Ronald Steiner from 02/2013 – 05/2015.
I currently live near Karlsruhe and work as a developer and consultant in the field of 3D visualization of complex industrial products. Aside from work I am doing a Ph.D. in computational linguistics. Details about my work and research can be found here.
Art is my balance to science and work on the computer.
Hardly a day goes by without me painting – even if it is only in my mind.
